Gokarna Road covers a rather disjointed period of songwriting, a trip to India inspired the title track and the characters met there, Arabella was a snapshot of a session at Buckland Monachorum with a young girl dancing along to the tunes. Whistle to blow is all about my paternal grandfather and his time in the trenches WW1. There's ranting at the state of the world, seperation, batch cooking with my mother and the delights of chasing snow.
The Moon Grins, contains eleven original tracks of love, life and limestone quarrymen. Both my sons play various instruments with me on a mainly acoustic set of songs.
